Sheppard seems to have started the season how he ended it which is great, he again looked good with solid disposal.
Hurn working very hard, strong at the contest and running well.
JK as mentioned keeps presenting.
Le Cras looks back to his AA best.
Bennell up forward is a nice change for him, can see him coming in for a few games there, but still depth.
Duggan chases, tackles, runs and crashes into packs - love it!
Nic Nat looks cherry ripe for another big year, Lycett looks like a good #2, although still needs to improve his centre bounce work.
Emac is still standing.
Cripps still a tackling machine
Gaff just keeps running, doesn't look to be slowing down at all - back to back AA.
Butler putting his body on the line early which was good to see, knows he's fighting for a spot.
Yeo is still teetering, getting the ball, but nothing too productive.
McGovern knows where the ball is being kicked before the guy kicking it even knows - mind reader.

Overall though the kicking has been rubbish, so bad that it's kind of a good thing as I can't see us being that bad in the real thing. Missing targets by several metres. Overall the run isn't quite there, not a lot of overlapping handball which is what is needed.
Marking has been sloppy, kicks going into 50 have been average which hasn't helped though.

Haven't been able to finish our good work up fwd as GC flood back, GC have a lot of intensity and should be commended, don't think we expected it, and they're playing very well.
