95% sure it's being played at Nerradara, or somewhere to that effect...definately in NSW but can't remember the exact name of the town...

What a load of shit. Ive read 1 story about last nights game. Im sure it will be the same next week. ****ing useless playing these NAB challenge matches.
Chill out. They are PRACTICE matches. No media has ever, ever, ever paid more than lip-service to reporting on PRACTICE matches. The ONLY thing they are good for (apart from the PRACTICE) is finding out about injuries, nothing more, nothing less.

It's being played at Narrandera, NSW (90km from Wagga Wagga) Friday 7pm against the Swans, should be a good game. I'll get some photo's and put them up over next week-end

Yes but as supporters were all hungry to see how our teams our going. Nobody in Cairns or Narranderra or wherever the **** we are playing gives 2 shits about us. So why not just play these "practice matches" somewhere where us supporters can actually get to see them?

EDIT: No offence Brad1510

They did. The supporters in Cairns/Townsville got to see them. Just like next week the supporters in the Riverina will get to see them.

Do you think that you deserve to see them more than other supporters just because of where you live? I really, really hope not.

ALL of us supporters would love to see them week in, week out like the 'good old days' but in a national competition that's no longer possible so we deal with it. Please don't devalue your position or opinion by having the arrogance to assume that because you live somewhere you have 'rights' to access the club any more than someone else.

I agree with smokey_58au. As I live in Wagga, I only get to watch the tiges 3 or 4 times a year, so stop whining that you miss a practice game or two... if we want to see a H & A game we're traveling 500 odd kms each way... not all Richmond strong supporter live on Punt Road.. I know that Wagga and Albury have Richmond supporter groups.

You all are welcome to travel to Narrandera.... but not all supports will put themselves out that much to see them play.

We all support the Greatest Football club on earth, so cut the crap about missing some preseason games.

Its wrong that any side have to travel during this 2 weeks in a row. The game Should be in Victoria atleast.

I live 1 and a half hours from narrendera and 3 from melbourne, great for me and the ground they are playing on is superb. They are expecting 10,000 there, don`t be so precious.

I do think its dangerous to have these games almost always played in the country on country grounds. Especially when the number one priority is to escape with no injuries.

But it is good for people who live in remote places to see some live footy.

We are getting a chartered jet thanks to Andy D apparently to get there so that's a start.

Cant see a problem with two regional matches in a row.

Will mean a Melbourne game for the final practice match I reckon to keep you oh so poor Melbourne based Richmond deprived fans a game to see, coz they barely play in Melbourne for the rest of the year. ;)

We play at Optus Oval the week after the Narrendera game. I think it's on a Friday. Not sure who we're playing yet...

"Dangerous to play in the country on country grounds" - have you ever seen the ground? No! Well neck up bud.
The amount of time, money, effort that the Narrandera council has put into it is great.
It's not a typical country ground -- the afl have done numerous checks on the ground to make sure it is up to the standard and safety of AFL ... and guess what...it passed with flying colours.
The playing surface is very top notch.

Agree with your comment though to a part on the live footy ... but remote places? haha. not really remote
