Just quietly Knights has drafted pretty well. Pears and Myers were two very good picks, especially Pears. You are definitely following the Clarkson model and I actually hope it all works out because I love to hate you.

Essendon and Hawthorn Grand Finals is what I grew up on and I want more of them. One of the main reasons for this is that I think your club and our club have balls. Certain teams just go harder than others in finals and if either of us have a whisper of a chance we will fight it to the end. You know the opposite of a Richmond.

It's funny because I have done a bit of a 360 here because 3 months ago I was all over the Blues doing well and thought you would get the spoon. Not so sure anymore I am liking the balance of your team and the things you are doing. As each day passes I think you guys will end up better than Carlton because I don't like the whole buying of players thing ... Seeing my beloved Hawks forming a powerful team of kids is what wins flags, and you are making the same noises, whilst Carlton worry me with the whole individual scent you get from them. Still a heap of quality talent at the Blues, but like I said am warming to your group.

Plus you have Ryder, the CHB version of Franklin.
