Jamestown-Peterborough have won there way directly into the 2003 Northern Areas Football Association A and B grade Grand Finals by defeating Southern Flinders in both grades. It is the first year of the combining of Jamestown/Appila and Peterborugh Football clubs and the merger has been a sucess on the field.
Jamestown last won a flag in 1991 when they won there fourth straight, and have played in losing Grand Finals in 1995 and 2001 since that flag. Peterborough last won a flag in 1979 and were runners up in 1980. If they can get up in two weeks it would be an achievement . They are coached by North Adelaide games record holder and former SA captain Mick Redden.
