Just got this on Twitter. I'm so relieved we won't be losing Naita to GWS. I thought it was a sure thing but :thumbsu::thumbsu:

He will be an official “Ambassador to the Pacific” with full AFL endorsement as part of his attractive new contract deal.
He is considered by Eagles management as a vital playing and marketing component in West Coast's ambitious plans for revival and a return to being an AFL force over the next few seasons.
“I wasn’t going anywhere,” Naitanui said.
“This is a young and exciting group, there is already a strong bond between everyone at the club and I want to be a part of that for the next five to 10 years.
“There really are some exciting times ahead of the playing group and we will work together to ensure we achieve the targets we’re aiming at in the coming seasons.
“It’s great to have this done so early. Pre-season is going well, there is a good vibe around the club and all the boys are working hard. I can’t imagine being anywhere else.”

Thank-you Naita for making the right decision. As long as we keep the young talent like Naitanui, Lecras, Shuey, Kennedy, Hurn, Sheppard & co at the club can we start to build towards another premiership. By doing this we also put us in the running to poach good players from other clubs in future seasons. Chick and Stenglein came back home because our young list was looking very promising. No one wants to go to a cellar dweller. With the list we are building and retaining another premiership in the next five years looks like a very possible scenario.

People kept saying this crap. There is no way in hell I would have thought that we could have salary cap issues.

Yeah there are some individuals in here that think they own reality, the reality is everyone is entitled to their own opinion even if it differs from their own....else piss off to North Korea.
