thinking of going on a dvd spree to git sum good bomber matches over the years through nameagame to add to the few ive already got...just wondering if you guys got sum good suggestions...although i know this topic has been bought up before.

How about Friday Night's game di*k head? I see you still havn't posted in the "Can the dons match it with our boys?" thread that you created! Your 1999 preliminary final win means nothing anymore, yes it was a wasted opportunity for the Bombers but we made up for it the next year by smashing Carlton in the Preliminary Final and winning the flag.

Anyway, back to the original topic ... I have very few Name-A-Game DVDs and videos that are actually close games I love the thrashings and when the whole team plays really well. 3 of my favourites are conveniently against Collingwood, the 2000 Anzac Day game, Round 20 2002, and Anzac Day of 2003.

For close games though, the 1999 game against the Bulldogs was an absolute classic as we were down to 0 fit players on the bench in the last quarter and players had to limp onto the field into the back pockets and forward pockets as we were so desperate for fit men. We hung on and won by 4 points in a thriller. And you couldn't go past last year's win over the Lions.

I have a few, including Anzac Day from last year which is a great, I have ordered Essendon V West Coast from round 3, will be another week and a half till it is available. Looking forward to that one.

I'm sure I read somewhere Carlton won something recently.

Can't have been the wooden spoon as you'd have thought they would have got additional draft picks had they come LAST.

How about the Heritage match in 1996 where all teams wore the old guernseys against Geelong in about Round 6 on a Wednesday night.
That was awesome with Boris kicking 9 goals in his comeback game from a knee reco from every possible angle. Downside was Longy doing his knee kicking for goal.

Special mention to the West Coast Semi final where Hirdy tore it up even kicking a goal running down the ground playing full back.
