we found out a while ago that fulgid means a "german bar whore"!!!!
from the names so far "Not the Full Quid" is the best and in contention to be put down, we are already putting in seymour butts as well!!!]
any more ideas would be greatly appreciated..thanks
Adj. 1. fulgid - having brief brilliant points or flashes of light; "bugle beads all aglitter"; "glinting eyes"; "glinting water"; "his glittering eyes were cold and malevolent"; "shop window full of glittering Christmas trees"; "glittery costume jewelry"; "scintillant mica"; "the scintillating stars"; "a dress with sparkly sequins"; "`glistering' is an archaic term"
out of all that one what sounded best to me "Scintillating" or even "scintillating street"
thats gold!!!
but back onto the naming of this horse...any more decent suggestions because we are going to foward the names through within the next week!!!
the name for the horse is called spiflicate (dolphin street*fulgid) we named it this after my dads mum (my nan) said spliflicate to people a lot and most people dont no wat it means.
hopefully you will notice the name in the winners stalls in town...it will be trialling soon and racing not long after hopefully if it doesnt go shinny...cheers
he has just turned 3 and is having a jump out with simon ryan aboard next tuesday at warrnambool....he will run in a few weeks if he doesnt go shin sore
