True, it is in line with the other back flankers. So that becomes: 24, 22, 25, 20, 20, 21, 27, 27, 25, 25, 31, 21 = 24 touches per game. Minus say 2 give backs after the kick-in and we're looking at about 22 touches a game. Its fine.

He's still a gun, and plays his role perfectly. I just think they shouldn't include the kick-in stats.
Have you got any stats to verify that Nas gets another two touches a game as repeat disposals from kick ins already included?

And, thought your argument was he only gets 15 touches a game after kick ins but now you’re saying it’s 22? which one is it.

What’s your point if it’s proportionate to other premium HBFs too who also get the same stat included, and given it makes up less than 15% of his total disposals?

Seems an odd and silly point to make, in addition to it evidently being an inaccurate one going off your initial argument.

Proper rebuild? Lol....

Injuries since the start of the season. Young side almost identical to age and experience as North and still better in every way. Will bounce back next season easily for contention. if you believe they are in the rebuild period like North or West Coast are then you have no idea about footy.
You guys are only 6 points better than North with nearly the same percentage. Port Power have holes on every line except the midfield and if Butters leave then it will be every line.

It's hilarious how badly these blues supporters are sweating on things not turning out for St Kilda with TDK and NWM.
Such a big club.
Of course we don’t want to lose TDK, but for $1.7m over 7 years - it’s unlikely he stays.

We are sweating on it as much as you must be NWM leaving.

He still hasn’t signed - why’s he waiting?

It must be killing you waiting for one or both of NWM/TDK to turn down the Saints.

Recommend going on holiday for a couple of weeks and coming back once it’s done so then you can hang shit to your heart’s content.

We all want TDK to stay - & somewhat assume he leaves.

Equally saints fans have shown their glee at “landing the big fish” ….finally.

My point is simply how ironic it is that NWM looks to be leaving.

Even the big way chest can’t seem to keep him there :).

I’m not sure most Saints fans are as invested in TDK as you think/hope. Would be a nice to have but I think in the space of two hours we’d all move on.

If we lost Wanga-Mil because he wanted to go home to Adelaide, that would be crushing. As has been pointed out to you multiple times, he won’t be leaving for the money.

Best of luck with it all turning out the way you hope.

NWM might be looking at whether it's possible to get home I assume. It sets us back if he asks to return so his manager has to work out if either Adelaide club can enable it.
He can't really walk through the draft so there would need to be negotiation.
He might have decided to stay but might be looking at what sort of contract length will be best for him. Two years and see if Saints look like they're going to play regular finals? Four years and get to RFA. Six years and get to UFA and then he can do whatever he wants, but it's a big leap of faith in St Kilda.
Whatever he decides is a big life decision. Certainly doesn't need to rush it for the likes of me.
TDK will have similar decisions to make about different matters.
TDK not coming would hurt us more in my opinion. Not in football terms but in perception for future free agents.
Obvs landing both players for next season would be great.

Well if NWM does leave you’ll be somewhat compensated.

For us it’s a mid first rounder - possibly used to bring another player in.

Disappointing having drafted & developed TDK, only now seeing the upside.

If we missed out on TDK but re-signed Nas, that's a win in my book.

Obvs I'd like TDK as well, but I'm not greedy.

if he's going back to SA, surely he is doing whatever he can to get to the Crows??

Ports list is diabolical, and about to get a whole lot worse. This is a proper rebuild. North Melbourne and West Coast style that they are about to head into.
Oh bullshit. Ports list is. Or diabolical and they are about to get access to young guns. Have a look at the injury list and it might tell you a story. To say their list is diabolical is absolute crapp and shows that you have no idea. Although coming from@ North supporter it is hardly surprising.

Haha.

Now take the glasses off.

And now remove Butters, Bergman, Marshall and Rioli.

And now realise you gave a first round pick to the Gold coast for a player outside their best 23.

Trouble in all three areas of the ground, Horrible ruck stocks, and wafer thin key forward stocks.

Yeah, just continue to recruit anyone who want to join you to build that "premiership" list. You want to compare players who joined us instead of Port Power recently lol.

2 things here, you are right he won't be leaving for money as Adelaide, Port and the Saints will all offer huge deals so he will win wherever he goes or if he stays. The other thing here is, and no disrespect to TDK but Naz has the potential to be a top 5 player in the comp the way he is tracking. Generally everything good in the saints play goes through him. I saw that at norwood oval in gather round. If it was a binary choice of trying anything to keep him or bring in TDK, its no choice in my mind, Naz is the guy you do anything to try and keep even if it means missing out on TDK

Which could be a top 4 pick if ladder positions hold

No doubt - 99% of Saints fans would prefer NWM to TDK.

The other 1% are brain damaged.

Incredible.

Lukosius had already spent time in the reserves last year.

Classic case of overrating where they are at, and its blown up inside 6 months.
To be honest, he was the wrong type of player port needed. He is a 3rd tall / half forward flanker when they needed a proper dixon replacement. Lukosius is the cherry on top, not the cake kind of player

We can easily afford both. If it comes down to it, it will be an Aleer or Bergman type who we’ll pass on.

Well, they nearly gave away pick 8 for Esava and Soldo the previous year. Not sure they will get lucky a year later.

Was posted earlier but i will repeat the main part..

"I am happy playing here. I've got great relationships with the boys. I love Ross, I love all the coaching staff. I want to be part of something special here at St Kilda," Wanganeen-Milera told AFL.com.au after passing a SKAT5 test at TIO Traeger Park on Sunday night."

I don't know how strong the pull is to return to S.A to be amongst family but every indication out of the saints are he's happy at the club. Also not the first time he has indicated he wants to be a part of the saints becoming a strong sucessful team. 12 months ago or so he said similar.

Ben Williams: We're going to hold off on signing any contract as you're showing every week how indispensable you are. I'm confident the longer we hold off, the greater the value of your contract will rise.

NAS: Ok

Completely agree.

And when Georgiades hasn't committed long term either i would have thought a bonafide key forward would be the priority.
