Saw Reid on Sunday. He is very skinny. He actually looked very lean which is a good sign in some ways. He looked athletic. I have my doubts he will do much this year which is fair enough from a forst year draftee. I don't expect much from draftees in year 1. Whatever you get is a bonus. Brown might have a stronger body but his inclusion depends as much as anything on injuries at least until/unless he shines for Willy.

If you want dream team first year players concentrate on the bottom few clubs and the very early picks – preferably midfielders who can form part of a clubs rotation and required marketing strategy.

Brown is a crap dream team prospect. In fact most young key position players are let alone key defensive players. If he does get games, they will be low possesion, even if they are good games.

Reid is a bit better but still a risk.

However forget about dream team for a second I saw him at training today, training with most of the key defenders and he has some definate strength one on one, more than holding his own against Presti and Wakelin.

He was teamed up with Travis Cloke a few weeks ago as well. However, Travis would have gone easy on him as opposed to the Tarrant policy - Just ask John Anthony, I'm sure he hasn't forgotten about it, he was living his worst nightmare, Tarrant showed no remorse!!

Brown would be lucky to play a senior game at the moment, but so much could change over the course of the season... injuries etc.

NJ Brown

KPP
First-year player unlikely to get in with likes of Presti, Wakes, Jimmy and Nicky in the line before him, and most durable.

hey maggies fans, i was just wondering how nathans pre season was going, and when u think he will make his debut.

He'll be doing very well if he gets his career back on track after that sickening leg injury. Good choice to give him a second chance in the draft - raw talent.

Are you talking about the same Brown?

Also...pendles, i noticed on getty that under Pendles, a portrait pic of him was actually not him, was Dan Stanley...the same pic in your avatar...just checking if you knew ;)

Nathan Brown... He broke his leg a couple of years ago. Faces a tough road back but definitely worth the punt.

Hope we didn't pick the wrong Brown, the WC one is a bit of allright, played very well against Sydney

I fail to see the likelihood that they're going to be much different, what with their identical DNA and all.
There is only 3% DNA difference between humans and monkeys but I've never seen a monkey play football... except for Damien of course

Also Mitch is 7kgs heavier

A) You don't seem to understand how much difference 3% is. However, the Browns obviously aren't going to have any differences in terms of natural talent, are they?

B) Mitch Brown isn't 7kgs heavier. I don't know what your source for that is, but I'd imagine that Nathan Brown weighs somewhere in the vicinity of 92-93kgs now, and there's no way that Mitch is pushing the ton.

If Nathan Brown is anything like his brother that debued last night for the eagles, we have a player on our hands.

Would good to see our Brown debut next week and play on his bro!

My source is CFC, they updated the age, height and weight of every single player a few days ago, he is listed at 87kgs. Now that is the same as his draft weight so one would hope you are right, but without another source you have to go with what the club says

That is taken from draft measurements. Just about every player has put on weight. From reports Reid has put on 6kgs and is just over 90kgs but is listed at 84. I also think Travis Cloke is 196-197 not 195cm as he seems to be a bit taller than Rocca.

Well thats not good enough, I print it out every year and waited until they updated it the other day so I would have the latest attributes

CFC have Travis Cloke's weight as 89kgs, which should give you an idea of how inaccurate they can be.

But even if you choose to judge based on that, West Coast only have Mitch Brown listed at 92kgs, which is only 5kgs more than Nathan on the official sites.

However, they aren't using the draft camp measurements, while Collingwood is. It's hard to imagine Nathan hasn't put on any weight since draft camp with a full pre-season of weights behind him.

So we turn over 50 million a year and can't get their height and weight right on the official web site... fecking McAFL
