Now seriously, spot the difference. Both are Nathan Jones', so which is which? There's no way our guy is 18.

(For those of you who couldn't tell the difference, the one on the left is ours, the one on the right is a wrestler. Funnily enough.)

i wouldnt want Jones to get any bigger though, because then he will lose his speed and agility. He can get stronger but not neccessarily a whole lot bigger. Just more toned.

The main thing he needs to work on is obviously core-strength and to get more power into his legs.

His upper body is very nicely developed though. When he stood next to Nathan Brown on the bench, he looked like he could eat him. Freakishly enormous.

He's big enough as is, only thing he needs to work on really, is experience. Has the fitness of a triathlete, the strength of a rhino and the class of a Mercedes - just needs to develop it.

Nathan Jones will become a future captain of Melbourne his leadership skills are brillant and his off field life is an example to young players coming up from the junior ranks. Nath is one to watch as a future leader of the club.

Hold on just a bit. There is not a whole lot of difference between J.Moore from Sydney and Jones. If anything Moore is about the same height and built even more solid. Jones has plenty to work on, his kicking could do with alot of work. The way he drops the ball onto the boot is suspect. There are obviously more positive signs than bad ones. The biggest big being the ability to find the pill.

I thought his kicking was good on debut. If you stuff around with a players kicking action often it can stuff up their kicking completely. He will be a very good player for the MFC provides he keeps improving. Remember he is a bottom age draftee.
And on Moore, he has had a few more years than Jones at AFL level I think.

Seems to have kicked on again today. Got a goal I think. I want this guy playing for Richmond ;(

No way we do not want him playing for Richmond!! you need to clear out all the garbage at the tigers, duds like Matt White, anyway the untalented spanker will be delisted at the end of the year - or even worse?? ;)

We need a must win against Sydney at the week end for a confidence booster for the finals, I read nothing into the defeat from Calton, our top players were out Arron Davey is worth 5 goals - meaning if he played we would of won.:thumbsu:

There has been alot of hits to a thread started by a Roo's suporter... anyway hope he gets RESTED when we play the Dees in a few weeks!!

from the past 2 matches i've watched of this kid he seems to be an absaloute gun. apparently he had being tearing it up in the vfl as well, any reason he didn't make his debut ealier I thought he could have been a real prospect for the rising star...pity hes not at the pies.

Danners generally doesn't debut first year players, he tends to make them develop in the VFL.

But this year both Bartram and Jones have debuted as first year players, and you could probably include Dunn and Bate as they were the two youngest players in last years draft and are both only 18 (Bate might be 19 actually, but only just).

Jones already had the body and fitness to play, he just needed to adjust to the pace, which it looks like he can do. Can run all day, and can kick the footy quite well.

I reckon we might have another Brock on our hands.

My thoughts exactly. Jones and McLean running around in the midfield!!!:thumbsu: This is Sylvia's problem. We have players queueing up for our midfield and that's were Col plays best.
