Reading through the posts about fowards - Nathans name comes up often as a trade - in light of his depression does it make him off limits, or would a new home do him the world of good? Thoughts

I doubt Hawthorn would be able to trade him now without coming off like the bad guy.Basically untradeable !!

While I agree with Turbocat, I don't see the depression as a big problem. He's had depression for three years now and he has only just decided to manage it. In other words he is likely to improve with treatment and in all likelihood be a better player than he has been for years. The biggest potential problem would be the side effects of his medication, if he is even on any. But there is a wide range of medications available and side effects should be minimised. Also, he clearly hasn't had really severe depression, it is just to hard to hide.

If he sees out this year ok, I wouldn't have any real concerns about going for him from a medical point of view. The footballing point of view, well that's a different story.
