There are too many quality posts in the weekly thread to put here, so an anonymous group of bigfooty basketball posters, the media and a handful of non basketball boarder posters were surveyed to find the single best post about the all star starters. WIthout further ado, I present to you...

C/F: Giannis Antetokounmpo
A world record first Greek player to make the starting V. Player with the longest name since Dikembe Mutombo Mpolondo Mukamba Jean-Jacques Wamutombo laced them up in the extravaganza event.
F: Lebron James
Could he be the first player to be an all star in both the NBA and NFL (Pro Bowl) in the same year? "I'm a football player"
F: Jimmy Butler
Jimmy first starters nod. To think there are rumours of his demise (trade). Superstar
G: DededededeMar DededededeRozan
A contentious one with so many notables missing out. Society still wondering how he scores so many points without shooting the 3 ball overly well.
G: Kyrie Irving
Aussie superstar Irving gets the nod. Boston fans quietly fuming (lying if they say they're not). His father played for Bulleen. Did you know Kyrie was born in Melbourne!!!!??? What a star!
WEST
C: Anthony Davis
Arguments for Boogie can be made here. But the league doesn't like him. Davis has a chance to show the world that the new bunch of young bigs (Embiid, Noel, Porkzingas, Mozgov) aint got nothing on him. Needs one more AS appearance to be the N.O leader in that stat.
F: Kawhi Leonard
The man with the biggest hands in the league is here again. Since 1998 the Spurs have been represented in this game.
F: Kevin Durant
Making his debut as a Warrior is KD. Everyone waits to see if he will share time with Westbrook (assuming Westy makes the bench)
G: S. Curry (Steph not Seth)
As good as he was last year? Probably not. But he is to the NBA what tim cahill is to the A-League. And let's face it, he's still in the top few players in the league (maybe not the world cause Casper Ware isnt in the A)
G: James Harden (nee Kardashian)
Released from the shackles of the Kardashian Klan, Harden has transformed himself into the leagues supreme distributor. Defensive prowess metrics were not considered.
