I was looking at some archived statistics on the Bulls official site (via NBA.com), over the period 96-99, and Dennis Rodman does not appear anywhere...

Are the NBA attempting to convince l'il Joe Average that the notorious bad boy never existed? :D ;)

Don't remind me that he played in San Antonio.

But he also was one of the biggest negative influences ever to grace (I use that term loosely) the Spurs lineup. Thankgod he packed up and jumped ship.

Good rebounder??? Much much more than that.

He is the greatest rebounder of the modern era. Just an absolute freak on the boards, knew exactly which way balls were going to bounce, knew exactly where to be, blocked out perfectly .... just did everything. Wanna learn how to rebound. Just watch tapes of Rodman.

I do commend Rodman on his basketball abilities, especially for a 6'8/6'9 guy, but the negative influence he had on the Spurs was remarkable.

Dennis Rodman was a nutcase who was sensational rebounder and exceptional defender. Had a shocking shot but handled his opponnet well in every sence of the world. I didn't think he was a negative influence with the Bulls. He didn't like taking sh*t from anybody

Anyone that thinks they are more important than David Robinson to the Spurs organisation (pre-Duncan) is a detriment to the club. I do agree though. His flair did suit into the Chicago system well.

Rodman was never going to fit in well with guys such as Robinson, Avery Johnson or Popovich's system.
