who do u think is the most underated player in the nba?

players that dont get the recognition and billing they deserve..
and yes, i'm sure there are much better players in their respective positions, but these are some that i think are underated..

here are a few suggestions by moi...
feel free to add some more ~~

brent barry... a do-it-all... playing alongside one of the best mr do-it-alls on the sonics team... usually plays behind payton, baker, and lewis... the best of the barry boys... is actually having a great year... currently good for 13.5pts, 5.6rb, 5as...

doug christie... prob the best defensive guard in the league.. incredibly athletic... along with scott pollard, he is one of the kings that do the hustle, scrapping, dirty work... 13pts, 5rb, 3.5as, 1.5st..

larry hughes.. big things were expected from him.. hasnt quite delivered as yet... but, is having a very good season while adjusting to a new role as PG and leader for the warriors... his fg% has been excellent compared to what he is renown for.. 14.5pts, 4rb, 5.2as, 1.6st....

donyell marshall... in the past, i would have called him one of the most overated players... an underachieving high draft pick... a bust... but, in the last cuppla seasons, he's quietly become a consistent frontcourt performer... incredible numbers this year.. enough to warrant all-star status... but, i'm pretty sure he'd be overlooked... 19.3pts, 8.3rb.... and 58.4% fg% !!! (yes.. ph&ph)

cuttino mobley.. the other half to probably the NBA's best backcourt... troubled with some injuries this year, but he's one half of the excitement machine... currently 17.4pt, 5rb...

kurt thomas... camby is the high flying/dunking man for NY.. but i think a consistent performer that goes unnoticed is kurt... 10pt 9rb..

ben wallace... wide body for the pistons... rebounding down from last year's... limited offensively.. but does the work defensively... 7pts, 11rb, 3.2bl, 1.6st... 57.7 fg% !

david wesley... mashburn, davis, campbell... but wesley is prob the hornets best offensive weapon... a great streaky shooter.. converted PG... 16pt 4as...

lamond murray.. jkidd's running mate in college... a great scorer... the cav's leading scorer at 17.5pts, 6rbs... 3pt shooting at 40%...

I went with Mobley, he had a fantastic year last year and is following it up this season. Big call though on Mobley and Franchise been the best backcourt in the league... Kidd and Kittles in NJ, Armstrong and T-Mac in Orlando, Snow and Iverson in Philly, Cassell and Allen in Milwaukee, Tinsley and Miller in Indiana, Welsey and Davis in Charlotte, my personal pick Nash and Finley in Dallas, Bibby and Christie in Sacto, Marbury and Hardaway in Phoenix, Payton and Barry in Seattle....

Take your pick :D

Definitely my man Donyell Marshall

He has stepped up big time of late, but unfortunately he's living in the shadow of Karl Malone.

When the Jazz finally offload Malone you will see a true star.

hmmmm.. thats another poll there... haha.

ah yeah.. big call.... but, i think the houston duo are the most exciting for sure.. slashing, running, dunking, bombing..

i did say 'probably best'... might have to think about that one again...
