NBL on One HD???

Sounds like the Basketball association want the NBL back on FTA. Also sounds like they want Ten (or One as it will end out) to have the rights as they treated basketball well back when I was interested in the NBL (I never can get into the NBL not being able to watch it on TV. I even have started liking netball watching it on One HD now...).

What are people's thoughts and will it happen and in what shape and form (i.e. will Fox be involved at all).

Would think it'd be a welcome addition to the One roster and defintley ignite some more interest into the game. But if Cairns and Townsville can't access ONE, then you've got to be skeptical. But I'm all for it, even replays from Fox.

I can remember back in the early 90s when the Wildcats were the #2 ticket in town, Channel 10 showing their games in prime time.

Great stuff.

It'll be nice to see the game back on FTA.

They'd be stupid to not grab the NBL. Last I heard Foxtel paid very little for the TV rights, it would be a great cross promotion for the channel to show NBA and NBL. It would surely cost them no more than the NFL, MLB, NASCAR, you name it.
