Watched putt 3 times last year. Always injured . But big frame

Wedderburn announcing another recruit from Bendigo . Looks to be a big unit . Nice pickup will be good

St arnuard have had a good start, 2 or 3 more and lookout .

All other sides very quiet on recruiting front . Well big names anyway .

Wedderburns recruit played a few games late last season. Was handy. Putt only needs to be available come finals. Calder will be very strong again. Saints look to have recruited a lot but they have recruited a lot the past couple of years and a lot didn’t end up playing. Hopefully for them to be competitive this changes. You can bring in a lot of recruits but I’m not sure the Saints have the locals to go with it

The Lions named a couple of handy players in Laird and Stroobants.

When was the last time Birchip didn’t have a gun ruckman? They’ve seemed to have been very strong in that position for many years.

I’m sure they’ll pick up another gun ruck to continue this run.

Do the new AFL ruck rules filter down to lower Leagues? If so, Bulls couldn't have timed it better losing Hoskings, considering he is more of an engage and wrestle ruckman than a leap one.
Spot on. If the changes do occur to the lower leagues his ability might be hindered a bit. But he would still dominate without it considering that there aren’t that many centre bounces. A lot more stoppages where he can just body the other ruckman

True, however they've also got rid of nominating a ruckman, with the idea of just balling it up quickly and the 3rd man up comes back into play. So won't be as affective as he's been.

Yeah wasn't sure, as the way they banned the 3rd man up was to get teams to nominate a ruckman, so assumed that it was allowed again now.
Yeah confirmed you still can only have 1 ruckman per team contest the contest, you just don’t have to nominate anymore. Common sense approach.
