It’s not so much hate towards him, it’s more the fact he’s playing at CHF when it’s clear he’s not a forward.

If Pendles was playing CHF I’d be just as annoyed.

Last game against the Swans, Buller gave away 6 frees in the ruck, got 5 possessions for the entire game and kicked 0.1.1 and took 2 marks on the wing tucked away safe near the boundary line. Not bad for a key foward. No Thanks.

The trouble is he’s been superseded in the midfield and there’s no place for him.

He’s too slow, can’t kick, can barely handball and struggles to take an uncontested mark, let alone a contested mark.

It’s embarrassing watching him play and it’s good to see most people are seeing the same things, just a few stragglers left at the moment, moving at Ned’s pace ironically.

Such a strange decision to effectively play him as CHF.

He must go back to the VFL. Either let him go back and find form as a midfielder, or give him 4-5 weeks as a forward in the VFL to prove he is capable of playing that role (which clearly doesn't suit his skillset).

To me he has one role and it is as that big bodied, inside mid. Right now, Anderson & Allan are ahead of him, so he needs to go back, like Ed did and play his way back in.

I can see why Fly likes his competitiveness and will to work…

But this is going to be exposed if you don’t have the skillset to go with it

Especially when other talented players match that level of work and competitiveness.

He’s basically a midfielder that is bordering on obsolete to play in there because he doesn’t have the traits right now you need ..which is explosiveness, agility and speed and then the ability to be damaging by foot.

I don’t see how he can fix this.
