Ironically, it could be our desire to keep Kelly as Head of Football with Balme working under him as the reason he said no.

Interestingly the last time Sam Edmund reported a scoop on us, it was about McAsey being desperate to leave..... A week before he signed his new deal.

Colour me surprised.

I'm disappointed with the way the club has let their ambassadors run with this and even had the CEO interviewed by one and still let it run.

Listen to the audio and the broader comments. Silvers could have knocked it on the head but left the door open. Could have just said it’s not happening. You’re allowed to say that guys contracted at other clubs won’t be coming to your club next year.

Well, we did talk to Balme so Silvers wasn't aware of his decision before his interviewed. Sure Balme told someone here on this forum but even we questioned how legit it was.

Time for everyone to move on. You’ve been duped. The one thing you know now is to not believe anything until it’s officially confirmed.

Don’t be angry at the club, the club said nothing and refused to comment on contracted staff from other clubs.

The statement from Balme seems to indicate we had simply asked to have a conversation with him, and that’s literally where it was at.

If for some reason you still have some residual anger, be angry at the media institutions who went with a completely fabricated story.

Good way to find out if there’s a rat at the club though [emoji6]

Edit: by all reports Balme may have complained to Richmond that he wasn’t impressed with having his responsibilities reduced at the club in the last few years. For all we know either himself or his manager used the Crows for leverage to improve his own conditions at the Tigers.
