Neitz has officially retired, with immediate effect.

What does this mean for Valenti and Wona?

Probably not much different to before, one will be dropped once Grimes is back, the other will get an extended run in the firsts.

I think his retirement, they can put him on the LTI.

as i understand the rule you can't swap and change which rookie is on the senior list. Valenti was promoted in place of Neitz and can now play all season but think Wona will have to go back to the rookie list once Grimes is ready (unless someone else gets injred long term)

Incorrect. It is no longer a temporary elevation. They have a gap on the senior list an can put whoever they want there.

On the news they were reporting that it would give Wona a chance to play the whole season. But who know he may get injured, or anything could happen. All we know now is, barring injury (and form), at least one of them should be there all season.

I'm hoping for Steven Baker from the Saints to be back this week because I dearly need some high scoring mids in my side because I think that is where most of the points are won and can seperate good teams from the average...:thumbsu::D

i dont understand your post. you said i was incorrect then stated that Valenti would have to be a permanent replacement for Neitz which is what i said? In any case it would just be nice to know for sure what the rule is. when Grimes comes back can the demons choose who to drop off the senior list.

I think you may be talking to the wrong poster.

Too good.. :thumbsu:

Those trading out Neitz should consider Yze. With Neitz out he should get more TOG which shoud improve his scores. At the prime of his career to.

I opted to keep Neitz in the hope that he'll return out of retirement and be back to his brilliant best, and instead traded Cross to Matthew Carr to free up some cash which has allowed me to upgrade Jonathon Brown to Yze. :thumbsu:

That is a great idea

im thinking M.Murphy > Dyson

then i can downgrade chapman to Yze giving me alot of money to trade Newman > Birchall
