New hurdles

Did anyone see these massive obstacles?
Honestly I thought i was watching pony club...it was embarassing.

We all want safe racing but that was ridiculous...why have jumps at all?
The older "new" jumps were silly enough with horses brushing through them like they didnt exist.
These may as well not even be there.

What next?

Thats why this discussion about TL being a champion jumper is so stupid.
He wouldnt hold a candle to the greats of the past..he cant actually jump

What "new" hurdles? As far as I know the hurdles havent been changed at all and I had read every article there is over the last week on the jumps issue.

Must have missed this one:

The AJRA last week reacted with the formulation of a 9 point safety plan which was adopted in part by RVL,including wider & brighter painting of the jumps take offs.
Adam Trinder who won the Brian Smith hurdle on Madison Lane:
"They certainly jumped a lot better with the new take offs but I would like to see some softer tracks"

I don't know how many jumps races you watch but I'm a keen follower and structurally the hurdles have not changed within the past week. The only change to them was the sight lines which were widened and made brighter.

They are but you were commenting on the size of the hurdles. I said the size of them hasn't changed one bit in the past fortnight, the only change was the paint on them which has nothing to do with the size of the hurdles.
