Cool works now, looks quite good, but I hate geocities sites, those popups annoy the hell out of me. Also each page doesn't have a link back to the "home" page making the visitor having to use the "back" button which isn't good.

If you can invest in some paid webspace and get a proper URL as that makes a big difference as far as a professional look goes IMHO.

If you ever need any tips on anything don't hesitate to pm me.
(My main 2 sites are www.nafc.com.au and www.rocketrooster.com)

Well done though, Im sure the people involved in that league will be appreciative of your new site!:)

thanks for the reply rooster. I will add a link to the front page like you said. At this stage it will remain on geocities as I have just done it as a bit of fun and for my passion of the LVFL. If enough people use the site then I will invest in a proper URL.

The local newspaper is going to do an article on my website so hopefully we can drum a bit of interest that way so people know there is a website available.

nah i just follow it but I did get an offer to play reserves for Dunolly but my sons have sporting commitments so unfortunately my career is over.

What about yourself?
 
Used to play for YCW. Had a couple of seasons off and hoping to get back into it next season.
Hopefully Dunolly have a better year next year with the new coach.

lol, long story.

Nice guy, loves footy, but we got sick of him continuously putting up new posts about his website, or asking help for it instead of just amending his original post, always trying to bump it up to the top with replies to himself, etc.

Good luck with your venture and great work on what you've done.

Yep Brad can I ask that you keep details of the site to one thread so that we don't clog up the board. I'll merge the three threads into one for you so that they're all together.

Also, there's a general rule against advertising websites on Bigfooty forums. A one-off mention s fine, continued mentions are not. If its mentioned in context of a larger theme its ok though (eg if you're trying to guage opinions of the best way to represent something).

Also with the current non-display of signatures it makes it hard for us to advertise our sites here that way, so I don't jump immediately on mention of a site unless its nothing but 'Come see my website http://www.yyy.zzz'. Also, of course, local clubs/leagues need exposure more than the AFL does so again I'm a bit more lax.

But just keep in mind not to go overboard. :)

I tried to have a look at footypedia but i havent been able to get on for a couple of days. Can i get some feedback from you on my lvfl website. Is it ok that I linked to your LVFL messageboard as I didnt see the point in starting another one.
