Will you follow it?

I loved the redbacks t20 seasons these last 2 years. This year, I just can't give a ****.

Teams are mixing and matching.
It's not the teams you came to love, infact, they're new useless clubs all over again.

I can't even get into it enough to know what the new teams are called.

I hope this new season is a financial failure. No one bothers turning up, especially in Melbourne and Sydney because I beleive they got 2 teams.

Bring back the traditional teams, the Warriors, the Redbacks, The Tigers, the Bushrangers, the Blues and the (insert what QLD is)

It's hard to have an affinity for any of these franken-teams.

All they needed to do was expand the season and have every side play each other twice and most importantly they needed to keep the state sides as they were.

I agree with this. There was no need to create completely new teams for the T20 comp.

I'll still get right behind the Strikers but I don't think any of the teams will get the attendances they used to get with the state sides in the old comp.

Season launch is happening tonight.

Strikers matches

18 December v Melbourne Renegades (Adelaide Oval)
23 December v Sydney Thunder (ANZ Stadium)
28 December v Hobart Hurricanes (Adelaide Oval)
3 January v Brisbane Heat (Gabba)
8 January v Perth Scorchers (WACA)
10 January v Sydney 6ers (Adelaide Oval)
19 January v Melbourne Stars (MCG)

So after all the hullabaloo about this brand spanking new comp, it still isn't even home and away (play each side just the once for just a 7 game season - an increase of 1 from last season). Also, only the three games at Adelaide Oval (no change from the previous 2 seasons), but a $20 increase in 3-match ticket prices ($55 this year compared to $35 last year).

The sceptics will have a field day with this set up.
