hi guys just looking for some last minute help regarding new years eve in the city.

am heading to adelaide with a few mates, dont really have any idea where to go at this stage. heard the casino will be going off. any suggestions? anything going on in glenelg?

I'd stay away from Glenelg, it's always been a fizzer when I've headed down there. I think the entire of Glenelg is a dry zone so you can't drink. And there will be tons of families n little kiddies everywhere.

Stick with town. The casino will be packed as per usual. Other than that I'd try The Stag on east terrace, the Dog & Duck on Hindley or the Alma on Magill road, Norwood.

I'll be with mates having a bbq from 5pm onwards, getting smashed and probably heading into the casino.

avoid the bay like the plague...grand might be ok but besides that its a family friendly party...stick to town, find a good crowd somewhere, recomend the stag, d and d, cas, havelock, normally a good night to be had...or roam the streets and find a house party ha

OH and definetly stay away from Ramsgate @ Henley Beach. The majority of the people that head there are either try hard surfies, bogans or arrogant ****wits.

Better off going to a pub in Elizabeth than mingling with the w***ers of Henley or as they like to call themselves the "Henley Crew"

cheers

just going to head in early and try a few pubs (probably the dog and duck) get pretty smashed and head over to the cas

The dog n duck is packed to the rafters pretty early on a normal saturday night, so id imagine new years you'd have to get there extra early to avoid a 3 hour line up
