This might be the kind of attitude that breeds the losing culture that so many complain is present at Richmond.Give him the rest of the season off to get it right and blood some youngsters, it's not as if we are going to make the finals.
could be gone for the rest of the year i reckon. shame. but hey cotchin fill in captain!
elevate Jakobi
Worst thing was that Newman's injury only happened because of a terrible kick out of defence. He had been fantastic in the first 10 minutes.
“At this stage, it is difficult to put an exact time frame on how long Chris will be on the sidelines, but we’re hopeful he will be available for the last portion of the season,” said Richmond Football Manager Ross Monaghan.
Last portion of the season? What does that mean? We only have 5 games left.....
Ice him up and reload next season.

SEN reporting it's a posterior cruciate and he's out for the rest of the season.
Interesting...

Looks like SEN were wrong as usual.
PS.
I have Newman in my supercoach side too. Hurry the #$@@$ up and come back Newman. LOL!
Actually, SEN simply had a medical guy on saying that the worst case scenario was a ruptured PCL, which would be season ending.
I'm not a Richmond supporter and am doing research for obvious reasons.
However, a PCL tear is 2-8 weeks but a PCL rupture is 6months-12 months.
The article suggest it's a PCL strain? What the heck is that?
A strain is an injury to either a muscle or a tendon, the tissue that connects muscles to bones. Depending on the severity of the injury, a strain may be a simple overstretch of the muscle or tendon, or it can result in a partial or complete tear.
