Melbourne Football Media Release
Brett Ratten has resigned from his position as assistant coach at the Melbourne Football Club to pursue a further career in coaching.
Ratten said, "I've enjoyed my time at the Melbourne Football Club, and learnt a lot in the twelve months I've been there. I'd like to experience coaching a team to further my coaching development."
Melbourne Coach Neale Daniher praised Rattan's contributions at Melbourne saying, "Brett has been a terrific addition to the coaching team this year and he has made a great impact with the midfield group. It is unfortunate to lose Brett but we understand that for Brett to gain further knowledge about all aspects of coaching he needs to coach his own team. I'd like to thank Brett and wish him all the best for his future and career development."
The Melbourne Football Club thanks Brett for his invaluable contribution this season and wish him all the best with his future.
