Would anyone else be keen on a 'Latest AFC News' thread during trade week/FA/Draft etc?

I was thinking it would be handy as a Tapatalk user if such a thread was locked and only updated should something involving the AFC be confirmed (e.g. a player requests trade, we recruit someone).

There would be other threads to continue these discussions, but mobile users could subscribe to this thread, and receive notifications whenever something important happens?

Not a bad idea, but isn't there a limit to how much stickiness we can have on a board. Perhaps we could have a link to such a thread in the "Index of Links to Important and Useful Threads" if that is the case.

Great idea. Have a mod or someone run it and only put confirmed news on there. No other guff, just confirmed news.
