This is our chance to cement our top 8 if we can win our next 3 matches... we have a few toughies after that...

I am sick of reading we are tankers.... now we're not goood.... collignwood played crap...

its amazing how jelous other teams really are of us.... we have a great chance to win a premiership in the next 3 yrs if we can keep all these young players and keep them developing... your dreaming if you think we don't regardless of being a carlton supporter its clear...

top 8 this year would be great for experience!

lol let em say that and they sook if they lose to us they are big looses who should watch what their saying lol when it back fires on em :thumbsu:

I think we will need 11 wins to make the 8 after doing the ladder predictor looking at our fixture it is likely.:):thumbsu:

13:Essendon (home)
14:Richmond (away)
15:Saints (home)
16:Sydney (home)
17:Bullies (away)
18:Adelaide (away)
19:Port (home)
20:North (home)
21:Brisbane (away)
22:Hawks (Home)

We should definatly win against:
- Essendon
- Richmond

We need 3 wins from these winnable games:
- Saints (very winnable)
- Sydney (its possible at home although unlikely)
- Dogs (we did it last year)
- Port (also very winnable)
- Kangaroos (50-50)
- Brisbane (away but not impossible if we can stop J.Brown)
- Adelaide (away and unlikely but they are overachieving atm)

Then we have Hawks that i think we cannot win.:(

So wins against Essendon and Richmond in the next two rounds means we would only need 3 more wins to make finals and we could beat Saints, Kangaroos and Port if we play well :thumbsu:.

Keep in mind that Fev should hit some good form after a good match, Judd will only get better, Murphy is in great form, we still have players to come back from injury and Banno will own Brad Johnson when we play doggies.

the way the saints played last night we should beat them.
so it should be 5 in a row.
also with wins ova port and north should cermente our place in a long awaited finals berth!!

Is the saints match at the G or telstra dome? I have looked at 2 different fixtures & seen both venues named.

I dont want to be negative but I am a bit worried about Essendon and VERY worried about Richmond and St Kilda. I know we have turned the corner but I still need a bit more convincing.

The next 3 weeks are important, no doubt baconb, but really, let's just see how it goes. Six wins so far, with a few more to come - hopefully.

If we can retain this form, we'll be very hard to beat for the remainder of the year.

GO BLUES!

I liked how Ratts said it's time now to roll up our sleeves and start working. It shows that he's not getting carried away with a couple of good wins. He has been very calm after the losses and wins, which has been impressive. I'm sure he and Juddy will get the boys up for next week's match.

If its a Friday night match which i think it is it would be a TD

its a Friday night match at the MCG. I know because I have my tickets in front of me. The week after is Sydney on Sunday at Docklands.

13:Essendon (home) - we are playing better footy atm
14:Richmond (away) - we are playing better footy atm
15:Saints (home) - we are playing better footy atm
16:Sydney (home) - poor record of late, but think we can expose in Melb
17:Bullies (away) - match up well, but they are hot
18:Adelaide (away) - tough game for the boy, adelaide well drilled
19:Port (home) - Chad Cornes will paly, nothing more said
20:North (home) - not that good, we can expose for run and toughness
21:Brisbane (away) - they are tough in Brisbane
22:Hawks (Home) - seem to smash us of late, hopefully we turn it around

Games based on form we should win in Blue.

50/50 games due to other team form and previous games marked in Green.

Tough games marked in Red.

Based on that i see us being around the mark of 9th/8th

This week

We beat The Bumbers
The Dogs beat the Easybeats
The Crows beat Lions (either way we catch up a game)
Freo beat the Saints
The Hawks beat North

= We are 2 games clear of 9th and equal with 6th and 7th :)
