Judd will win the Brownlow next year. I've tipped Gibbs will win the Brownlow one day and i'm tipping it will be in 2010.

That's a bold call considering he's done nothing to write home about... in actual fact, will he stay in Victoria until 2010? His 2-year contract will be up at the end of '08 and considering he wanted to stay in SA in the first place. I honestly hope Carlton get compensation for it but it is a possibility.

Maybe he did want to stay in SA before he was drafted, altho I have never seen that quoted.

One thing he definitely said was that he is a very loyal person and would want to play his entire career at the one club.

I think he signed a 3 year deal, and his old man came out and said he doesn't want him leaving Carlton.

Cos of his old man's ties with Glenelg he wanted to play for Adelaide but was ineligible for the father/son rule.

Yeah, I've heard of loyal people before, Gavin Wanganeen, Nathan Buckley, Chris Judd.

...and how many of them actually said that they wanted to be one club players??

Of course all opposistion supporters are going to say his going to go, or that he 'wants to'. It's really a load of crap. Gibbs is happy at Carlton, you can clearly tell he is excited with the future of this club and playing alongside Chris Judd.

Bryce Gibbs will be a Carlton player for life... irrelevant that his dad played for Glenelg.

Back on topic....
Go Murphy :D

Gibbs has done nothing except play every game in a debut season that was superior to Pendlebury's.

He finished seventh in the rising star award.

His second year will be something to watch.

Gibbs said he would go anywhere to play football and isn't the type of person who will leave a club that committed to him with pick one.

Kennedy didn't want to leave Carlton, why would Gibbs when he's played every game in his first season?
Tell me where Gibbs said he wanted to be a one-club player.
Bryce was rapt when he heard he would be playing with Judd next year and the next six seasons after that.

He won't leave.

I think you'll have more to worry about with the number of WA born players on Essendon's list.

The Dockers and Eagles will be circling when the bottom falls out of Essendon in the next three seasons.

I wonder if they'll remember that Lloyd was willing to trade them for Judd this year?

No credibility, Lloyd said no such thing.

Still living in denial?

"We'll have pick six and where I think West Coast are going to like Essendon is we have plenty of great West Australian young talent at our footy club" said Lloyd.

Did not offer the young Western Australian talent. Stated the obvious that West Coast would be interested in that talent if we were to have snared Judd. This was an excerpt from a West Australian newspaper which clearly wrote a "shock" story, if you actually heard the interview on Sport 927 you would know that he never offered anyone, as I said, merely stated the obvious.

If Judd picked Essendon as his club of choice, who would the West Coast Eagles most want as a trade? Gumbleton, Ryder, Jetta etc. the young West Australian talent.

In denial... pfft!

Believe everything you read do you?

Judd, providing he is back to full fitness for the season, and every season after that!
