There is no use predicting stuff like that. They are too hard to get.

Contenders?

Realistic shot at flag success I HOPE is going to be from next season. Expectation is though that it will be the season after next, in other words, still two years away.

What should buoy us though is that if we manage to recruit correctly, avoid to many serious injuries, get a good team 'spirit' going (and players saying that they'll give a miss to bigger $$$ elsewhere in playing with their mates) then we should be able to make a sustained challenge for a good half dozen seasons with the core that we are building now.

I think we would contend for finals next season if everything goes well in the development of our youngsters, but its too hard to predict when we will contend for a grand final when anything can happen in football.
