I saw this article on Liam Kolar being a draft bolter. Indigenous, was playing soccer 18 months ago, Northern Knights. Wouldn't he have been eligible for us?

I had the same thought too.
NGA is not limited to indigenous backgrounds though, includes multicultural backgrounds, I don’t know if Liam Kolar is from a multicultural background or the particular eligibility rules.

You could bet your backside the club would know if Kolar had a multicultural background.

I can’t find the article so it might have been tv commentary, but I’m sure I heard a common theme amongst the NGA’s was clubs spent more time on researching the birth certificates/genealogy of existing juniors rather than investing in developing the actual ones they knew about (words to that effect anyway)
