Im already on, ellis not making it onto the bench for the hawks forced my hand, (for the record I had Lachlan Hanson who I traded smith for) still have hope for ellis. Glad I did :thumbsu:

Picked him up this week.
Changed Brennan to him.
Got about $125000 out of it.
Plus a better player by the looks of it.

On 62 in supercoach... What's that in dream team?

54 at half time.

no problem mate, he was the first one i suggested for you to keep above any of the rest, edwards is doing ok, davey having a bit of a downer

is it worth trading out adcock or kosi for jesse smith to free up 120-130k for an upgrade at another position? if so, which one?

my backline right now is very strong so could be worth it.
heath shaw, chad cornes, mcphee, milburn, goddard, bowden, adcock
(kosi, riggio)

i would love to trade riggio for smith but seeing as i only have 10 trades left :(:( i better not :(

Would it be a wasted trade to swap either Ellis or Riggio for him? I have around 14 trades left.
Im in the exact same position. Ellis still has potential to rise, but not by much more. Riggio doesnt look like getting another game at all with Kangaroos recent success. Not that riggio was going to rise much anyway. Ive only got 12 trades left.

But because he looks to be a permanent 22 for the rest of the season its so hard to resist trading for him.

I have his teammate in the side, Hansen a straight swap for him or Ellis will do me. I was waiting to see how he went before I jumped on board now I know I will.

Finished with 130 BTW.

would like the brennan to smith trade! but dont know if i can trust him on the field for the rest of the year. will prob upgrade brennan instead.

Probably not but even if he has an average game next week his price is going to shoot up pretty quickly.

For emergency, it would be an allright trade.
For being a cash cow, you would have to waste two trades so i wouldn't do it.

Lets hope. Though im not going to do another mid-week trade like that though:o

No. I'm in the exact same possie, decided to wait until after Smith's 2nd game so could have time to decide over Ellis or Riggio. Happy to get rid of either.

For me i always new Jesse Smith was a good pickup this season, just didnt wanna wait for him to get over injuries, but now i can safetly do this-

Xavier Ellis -> Jesse Smith
Andrew Lovett-> Jonathon Brown

I concur. Basically you want to have both spots taken by players who are getting games. If you have Riggio and Boyle ( for example ) as your back emergencies - using a trade on Riggio is a good move. Boyle can be the cash cow later in the season while Smith remains as your backup. The added advantage is that you have players that are giving your team flexibility on who to play ( given form ).

As for Smith, he was always on my radar.

Already got him last week.

Highly rated at the roos - runs around like he owns the place (and does).
