Given the utter shite news, thought it best we have a place to wish Nic well as he recovers from an ACL injury.

Definitely the barometer, and in the past two weeks alone has been immense in resuscitating our season. Will be very sorely missed.

To my beloved flying fijian all the best mate and i'll be sending the boys around to make sure elle is giving you all of the bj's to make you feel better.

I'm too emotionally shattered to make a rational comment on the matter. All I can say is lets give him as much time as he needs. If that means throwing away the 2017 season completely, I don't care. I hope he takes all the time he needs and he'll be sorely missed.

Just amazing that he had his career highlight and lowlight in the space of a week. I guess that's footy for you.

Speaks volumes that he does his knee trying to spoil, not doing something spectacular.

He's a star, Nic, but he has never failed to put his body on the line for the team.

We're all shattered for him. Wishing him all the best for his recovery.

i remember him tearing up after the qf last year a while after his mum passed away. a salty discharge came out of my eyes.

the club means so much to him and i hope the boys can give him a premiership by some miracle this season.

hope you get well swiftly nic nat. youre a true inspiration

Put his body on the line for the team. When he probably didnt have too. Absolute warrior. Just hope he can get some luck coming off this injury. The footy world deserves to see this guy dominate at his peak.

While it puts a big spanner in the 2017 season, I guess we can all look forward to seeing him return at the Perth Stadium.

That day will be a massive occasion...but can we actually wait?

Good luck Nic. You're one of the genuinely good blokes in this competition.

Averaging more than 9 contested possessions a game (over his career), is a genuine extra midfielder. For reference, Gawn/Kreuzer/Ryder are all averaging about 6.5 per game.

Whether it's this year or next, I cannot bloody wait for Nic Nat to pull on the wings again. :thumbsu:

Having him out of the side has really hurt us this year. He is our xfactor player and a game changer. That talented is like having an extra midfielder, only ruckman to play our game that has the ability he does. Lol how does a ruckman get mark of the year by jumping on the shoulders of another ruckman...

I think we should play him this year if fit, especially if there is a chance Mitchel will hang up the boots the end of this year. Nic > Mitchel > Kennedy!! that combination cant be stopped

If he's fit I have no probs with him playing the last few games of the year. It'll be good for him to get a feel for AFL footy, otherwise being out of the game for over a year and a half cant be a good thing.
