Bloody hell! When you look at the size of Aisake now you just hope he can play the game. The only trouble with guys who haven't played he game from an early age is that they find it hard to mark the ball in a contested situation. It's not a natural and sponteneous action.

FROM ALL RICHMOND FANS AND THE CLUB IN GENERAL: THANKS FOR OVERLOOKING COTCHIN in the draft.

KREUZER is AS GOOD AS DEAN PUTT.
Thanks for restoring my faith in Tiges fans.

There was a distinct lack of angst over missing the number one pick on the weekend, despite getting the spoon, and I was starting to think that maybe you had become more civilised.

Thanks for proving to me that nothing has changed.............so someone else's turn to use the communal brain tonight?

Tool, Troll, moron.....Putt didn't even play on Kreuz in the prelim final...Trengove did....you are a tool of the highest order.

Actually Putt played most of the year down forward for Calder, that's how well he goes in the ruck ;)

Rich will definatly be number 2, probably wont get him unless you have another shocking year.
And naitanui did give Kruzner a bath in the W.A. v Metro, you could argue who that kruzner had more impact around the ground, but you cant argue who had a bigger impact on the game
I think he will end up a CHF, very athletic, bit too short for rucking at 196cm
Jeff White is about 195

i think he will end up at carlton - as you will finish last next year.

Round 1 will set thepace for your season - losing by 60 points to the True Tennants of the MCG.

Hang on... are we playing cricket or football at the G in the first round...

Because the true tennants of the ground is the MCC and to be honest, if we are playing cricket, we are going to get slaughtered by the victorian team, but if it's football, we'll kill them because they can only field 13 players at the most without going to their second stringers.

Bitchmonds home ground is just down the road a little at that shithole called the Punt Rd Oval.

crawl back under your rock... when we want your opinion, we will give it to you.

LOL! Got a massive laugh from Pasta's post.

Tiger fans should seriously give up on this crusade to rubbish Kreuzer though. Why not just be happy with your own pick and let it be?

Kreuzer was the only choice for us given our weak rucks and crowded midfield.

As for Putt apparently being Kreuzer's nemesis, you guys are just grasping at straws.

Trent Sporn used to kill James Hird every time he played on him too. Does that mean I'd rather Sporn in my team than Hird though?

Back to the OP, you still have a chance to take him next year without having a PP or another on-field year like 07. If you wanted him, and if you end up with a pick between 6-10 (as was mooted by a Blue poster earlier this thread, and sounds about right to me), you can always trade for the #1 pick.

But what combination of players/picks would you be prepared to trade to get him?

I think you'll find that most smart recruiters would be reluctant to trade away the number 1 pick, so I guess no chance unless freo finishes last.

Hampson should end up being a good player but please don't say something like this. Naitanui will blow everyone's minds.

He will probably grow another 2-3 cm, but even if he doesn't it will not matter in the slightest. I have seen him play for SD colts several times and he is something else, his second/third efforts and work ethic are incredible for someone of his size. Also, I read in today's West Australian that he does a 2.87 for the 20m sprint.

thing is he's had three recos on the same shoulder, any other problems his career is over. even after this last one it was touch & go apparently.
Hence the comment "if fit".:thumbsu:

"If you disagree show me the QUOTE that Hughes said what you claim.........good like finding one.:thumbsu:"

Don't mean to get involved in all of this, but you are really starting to annoy me. Yes, this is from the HUN....

"Blues recruiting manager Wayne Hughes did not hesitate when asked whom he would have taken as the first pick in the national draft if the ruckman of Fijian descent had been available.
"Naitanui," he said yesterday.
"He is the most exciting player I have seen and he missed the draft by two days (because of his birth date).
"People won't believe how much money they will pay to go through the gates to watch him play. I've never seen anything like it."

You guys seem really pissed off you may just be too good to tank next year. Hell, Richmond fans are already planning tankfest2008 on their board.

If you actually bother to read the "Should we tank next year" thread on the Richmond board you would find out that 99% of the Richmond posters are absolutely against the idea of tanking next year (and I am one of them.).

I have my doubts the OP of that thread is really a Richmond supporter and is really a troll. If he is a Richmond supporter then I would consider him a traitor for wanting to see us lose.
