Surely you can see that it was a little swipe at getting three votes for 16 possession games, therefore saying it is a bit nonsensical that someone should get 3 votes for 16 possession games, therefore saying that Rowell shouldn't have got three votes for his 16 possession games, maybe even saying that Daicos should have actually won the Brownlow instead of Rowell...
