Dunkley
Rookie
Unfortunatley Davis is one of only a few swans that are a threat up forward, so it is hard to get rid of him. If only he kept his mouth shut he would be an even better player

Your right,Lewis was more consistent than Davis, but in Davis defence Lewis found the ball alot easier to come by than Davis does as he played alot as a midfielder and also as a bit of a sweeper off half back in a very different team with a different gameplan. To use a boxing phrase pound for pound Lewis was a better player with more talent.Strictly off footy a better bloke as well.yep, agree...davis has amazing ability but he must be close to being told "this is it, produce or your career is on the line"
dale lewis was also a super player, and i'm not sure if people would agree but i remember him being a bit more consistent than davis, if not as much of a match-winner

Its only my opinion, but i think the only thing Davis would have over Lewis would be his kicking skills.I really think anyone that did have the same opinion as me would have Davis inconsistency at the forefront of their mind compared to Lewis who never really had consistency problems,he was just a highly talented footballer which caused considerable frustration to Swans fans born out of his laconic body language in a sport that demands the highest level of intensity from everyone that plays it.Davis biggest problem imo is the fact that he actually knows how much talent he has and how good he could be and sadly thats enough for him.Its been said that when he was at Collingwood that he was the heir apparent to Buckleys FIGJAM title,a crown he definately wears in Sydney. Can't agree.
