Is anyone able to tell me anything about him?

Watched the first half of the match today and he was one that caught my eye. Looked as though he is a great link up player through the midfield and uses the ball pretty well. Looked to have really good speed and can lay a solid tackle.

Can anyone tell me:
-If he's eligible for this years draft?
-Is he likely to get picked up?
-How has he performed in the TAC this year?

Appreciate anything anyone can tell me.

Can guarantee I am not him. Not like that other bloke on here which was really funny. Didn't actually make the link that my username was nickh and would fit his name.
Nah, just teasing mate. In regards to your question no idea, Knightmare would be the one to ask.

I've been giving him a minor talk-up for a while now, since he played a near-lone hand in Murray's losing final last year, though I've only seen him for Country this year.

He's eligible. Big solid kid with solid pace, used mostly off half-back when I've seen him. Physical (which is helped by his size) and attacks the ball well. Accumulates ok (as well as you can off half-back when you're no the designated kicker) and is usually clean off the deck. Questions on him will be the reliability of his foot disposal - it can sometimes be a little shaky - and perhaps pace for the role he'd be asked to play. Not sure what his centre square of clearance work is like, never seen him in that role. Hard for me to judge since I've seen relatively little of him, but perhaps late second round onwards? Depends on what his kicking has been like over the greater part of the season.

He's got no single massive weapon in any part of his game as far as I can see, with your pick you'd be getting an old-fashioned honest footballer, and that can either spell a Luke Parker-type bargain, or a middling type who'll trundle away in the 2s for a few years without looking like stepping up before getting delisted and putting together a handy VFL career, or anywhere in between.

Eligable this year.

Can play and looks draftable. A likely mid draft selection.

Has some toughness and is a guy who really attacks the footy and strong tackler. Very good inside player and has performed strongly through the u18 champs. With ball in hand can try to do too much so while he can use it well at times his kicking efficiency is low.

Think he was #72 for Collingwood in the VFL this weekend, and did quite well. Looks a nice mover and disposal was fine.

won his grand final yesterday playing for Kyabram in the GVFL, classy left foot who attacks the ball and has no fear.
If he fills out could easily be a Grant Birchall type off half back.
Did play CHF tho yesterday and played it very well.

His younger brother Tom is another to watch in years to come

Hadn't heard much of Nick Holam prior to the draft. He's ours now and from his highlights package he looks to have a great attack on the ball and tackles like crazy. Could anyone who has seen him play live shed some light on where he plays his best footy, kicking skills etc. Looks like we also rated his leadership skills, being captain of the bushies - was a focus of our recruiting this year.

Holman is one of few lads from Murray who could really hold up his head this year. Murray had a poor season and had few players to impress, although Jarman Impey looked interesting.
Holman impressed me during the Triple header at QEO: his team was being pantsed, but he stuck his head over the ball and impressed with his disposal and endeavor. He got a go for Vic Country and didn't disappoint. He attacks the ball well and tackles strongly.
His kicking: when he is playing in the centre square or around the pack, he tends to get his foot to the ball pretty quickly, but not always to a team mate: no big surprise when you kick the ball under pressure. As a result, his kicking hasn't always looked that impressive. When given some space, his kicking looked much better. His hands inside looked pretty good and his decision making looked good enough. He took a couple of nice marks, but he isn't the quickest guy going around.
Leadership: hard to tell when you don't see him every week, but he appeared to be a 'do as I do' type instead of a huge loud talker. He does give his team mates a very good model to follow, as he doesn't die wondering. Someone who has seen more of the Bushies could probably tell you a bit more of this side of him.
