I AM A LIONS SUPPORTER BUT HAVE BEEN KEEPING UP TO DATE WITH THE PROGRESS OF NICK REIWOLDT'S INJURY AND WAS HAPPY TO SEE THAT IT IS ALL GOOD AND HE HAS BEEN PLAYING FOR SPRINGVALE OVER THE LAST TWO WEEKS. HE HAS PLAYED EXCELLENTLY WELL CONSIDERING THAT HE HASN'T PLAYED FOOTY FOR OVER 10 MONTHS SINCE HE LEFT THE SOUTHPORT SHARKS AT THE END OF THE AFLQ SEASON LAST YEAR, WHICH WAS AFLQ GRAND FINAL DAY BY THE WAY.
YOU HAVE ONE EXTREMELY TALENTED FOOTBALLER ON YOUR HANDS DOWN THERE, ONE THAT ALL AFLQ SUPPORTERS ARE EXTREMELY PROUD OF UP HERE IN QUEENSLAND. WE WERE ALL HOPEING THAT NICK WAS GOING TO PLAY HIS FIRST AFL GAME IN QUEENSLAND @ THE GABBA, BUT IT WASN'T TO BE.

GO THE YOUNG FELLAS!!!!!

the club have kept nick in cotton wool for most of this season as they see him a long term prospect. all saints supporters are looking forward to seeing him play as we've all heard great things about his footballing prowess.

lukester,

i think a read that southport won that grand final but how did nick go playing against men in a big game?

I'm not sure how Nick went in the Grand Final but he finished runner up in the Southport Best & Fairest which is a great effort for a 17 year old. Even though he will more than likely be a centre half forward, he was agile and athletic enough to play most of his footy on the wing. Not bad for a kid that is around 6"3/6"4

You might already know this but it is great reading it over and over again anyway.

;)
