Who are your other forwards?

Pavlich, J. Brown (both been disappointing but will stick with them as they're guns), Porplyzia (looks to be a keeper), Medhurst (seriously thinking the timing will be an upgrade to B.Johnson with no cash needed), Hill, Rioli (both still plenty of $ to gain yet - possible keepers), Gamble, Tippett.

When I said Hill/Rioli as possible keepers I meant as bench players, since all players can't be upgraded with the limited trades. But likely that they will eventually be worth trading (Hill closer to now than Rioli). Medhurst peak will probably coincide with a B.Johnson bottoming out of price. So might actually earn $ out of that one.

Am thinking of a Deledio -> Riewoldt trade. Have the $ to use - I'd say a high mid-ranger to a gun, so not a sideways trade. (Have 16 trades left) Opinions?
If you have any mids or backs to upgrade then I would leave Deledio for now. If you're confident in the rest of your team then by all means go for it though, but personally I'd say thats a low priority upgrade that can still be made later if needed.

I'd say if I want Riewoldt Deledio is probably the only option as a trade. The others still have a bit of $ to make. I'd say Chapman and B.Johnson are probably my others to watch and possibly get in 3/4 weeks time. Other ones I am probably looking at in near future in Mitchell in place of N.Jones and Gilbee in whose price will probably bottom out at a decent price at about the 3/4 week mark. Otherwise it is downgrounds of other players to cash cows - and there doesn't appear to be an abundance of them right at the moment.

And yesterday, skipper Nick Riewoldt left the training track early, clutching his right buttock after seemingly feeling tightness in the muscle. The key forward came back to training 15 minutes later but completed only a number of light run-throughs and sidesteps before again leaving the ground for treatment.

A club spokesman played down the injury scare, saying Riewoldt was fine.

Found this on the Saints board. Just a scare or is he injured? Anyone know any more info on this story?

Is there any more updates?

Well this just might help me to lean towards Buddy this week in the big who do I pick out of roo/buddy problem alot of managers are facing. Wanted to wait for a bad week from buddy as he has shown in the past he can have and then grab him after he dropped and pick roo up now. But might go the other way now.

I went riewoldt out of buddy/riewoldt.
because he is much safer bet. plus i didn't haven any saints before then... so i had to get him. buddy is still a wildcard i reckon, he needs lots of goals to keep his score up.

I went for Riewoldt and I honestly didn't think twice about it.

I would rather have a Riewoldt type than a Buddy who can be held for 40 or 50 points for a few weeks running if the Hawks lose momentum.

The worry about picking him short-term is possible injury that may help his price to drop further. Agree he is the better option of him or Franklin long-term.

Did anyone see Port v StK game - did Riewoldt look impeded at all? He didn't reach his BE of 72 (got 62), so it lloks like he will drop by around $4,000.
