Apparently this kid has had close links to the Swans. I would hate to see the swans use pick 12 on him but will he hold till pick 30? From what i hav seen of him he looks quite good!
Any Thoughts?

And Suban would be a 50/50 chance of being around at 30 but if Maxfield really rates him expect him to pounce at twelve eg: Patrick Vespremi last year

umm... Not completely sold on Johnston as i think Mckernan and Trengove are more talented, but i am not a draft guru so im not completely sure. I think there is better talent than Johnston but if we do draft for needs then wed probs get Johnston.

I'm from Ballarat and have seen him play a few times. He's definitely a cut above most players his age but I'm no expert on the young draftees so I'd have no idea where he'll go in the draft.

He's definitely our sort of player, but I would be disappointed if we took him at 12.

I still have my heart set on Sam Blease, even though he has kind of fallen off the radar in the past few weeks.

That is definitely not true regarding Pat V.
There were some injury concerns about him, but he was a 17yo All Australian in 2006 and a graduate of the AIS academy, so highly credentialled.

And whilst ROK was a first round surprise, that was the last year of Barham heading up recruiting.

doubt we'll pick up suban (but would be dissappointed if we use our first pick to get him)

i'm all up for drafting a kpp with our first pick.... which rules him out

however if we instead draft best available talent, and will probably seek a midfielder.... i'll reckon their will be better choices with our pick

probably sidebottom, hill and blease will be available
