There was a reason I picked Suban as my buddy this year! He's going to be awesome and he has all the attributes you'd look for in a leader. Whether or not this translates to him getting the nod as captain one day, only time will tell. I have no doubt he's do an exemplary job, but he does have some stiff - and worthy - competition in the other youngsters who have been mentioned in this thread.

We really ripped off Carltank....

Every game this kid plays, the pain of Warnock slowly disapears...I honestly think that Suban may turn out the better player.

While he doesn't appear to have the raw natural gifts of Warnock, he has tenacity and toughness that Warnock lacked. One thing our club has learn't the hard way is drafting players based on pure ability who lack the drive almost always fail.

However any comparison to Hurn is a bit harsh, suban has far more football ability than that designated kicker.

All weren't gut players when they captained their sides to Victory.

Suban's appearance is a bit similar to Schammer. Possibly the haircut? Or height. Often I see the young bloke on the bottom of a pack, or dishing out a quick handpass, and I have to take a second look.

He has fitted into the backline seamlessly and is doing a great job. And he's a great team man too. I have no doubt he's leadership material.

I disagree with that, Warnock is very tenacious and tough, except when it comes to being away from the teat for extended periods..
