I apologise if this has been done before but I'm new to this site.
Has anyone got any obscure nicknames for crows players or explanations for players with obscure nicknames? eg. I heard that Ian Perrie is called 'Sarge' as he used to stand to attention when Blighty was giving the boys a serve...........

Well, assuming you're not taking the pi$$ - ever noticed his surname?

Van Berlo is the Count.

One batty, batty, batty. Two batty, batty, batty.

My personal favourites that generally only amuse me !

#44 Special Fried Rice with BokChoy
Burton = Harpo Marx
Rhett = The Dirty Dancer
Jericho = "The Road"
Maric = Ivan the Terrible.

I are a few that I use

Brett Burton - Turdman (rhymes with birdman and is alot more appropriate)
Ian Perrie - Keystone Cop
Graeme Johncock - Stiffmeister
Luke Jericho - Chris Jericho (from WWE)

Stiffy comes from the last syllable of his (johncock) surname

Nathan Bock - Chicken Man
Nathan Bassett - Sea Bass = 'mutant Sea Bass with the evil temper and nasty disposition' from Austin Powers

there are others but yeah they are the best.

k
xx

Andrew McLeod ‘ Lleyton’
Jason Torney ‘ Horney’ (a rex isum)
Doughty ‘Dogga’
Robert Shirley ‘ Shiralee’
Hudson ‘hawk’
Skipworth ‘the bush kangaroo’
