What a seriously great, trashy show.
Christian Troy is a complete pr*ck, yet somehow I find myself sympathising with him.
This season looks even better than the last one.
Bring it on!

Last time there was a thread about this show I made this same complaint. You can have all the violence and surgery on screen you want, but not one bare breast makes an appearance? That bugs me to the point I can't watch it.

with all the sex that occurs and all the references to sex you actually see nothing

Question is if you had the chance would you really want to be Christian Troy? He gets any woman he wants, he's rich, arrogant, loves himself etc... at the same time he's emotionally shut off and doesnt really have any friends, and at times realises how shallow he and his life is, its a fantastic paradox.

Love how the show pulls no punches, it shows us what we all think at one time or another, and shows how society does judge people. I found it a bit confrontational in the first couple of shows last season, but by the end of it I realised that this is how alot of people live with their insecurities, and how the rest of us think at least some of the time, no-nonsense, immoral, and honest.

Having said that I do get tired with the whole vanity issue, even though thats what the show is about, I get the feeling that the message they're trying to get across has already been told.

I'm a fan. But I think I missed something ... why is his baby black?

Like someone else said, he's not the father. But I think he promised to take care of her and the baby once it was born, because he formed such an attachment during the pregnancy. He could hardly just ditch them. And I think Christian needs some real love in his life!

I've loved the show from the very first ep. Fantastic stuff. :D

I also love Julian McMahon...;)

Yeah when I saw that actor in the first episode I thought he looked like a 20 year old Michael Jackson. He's probably the least interesting character, belongs on Dawsons Creek.

Love the storylines atm, even the dull characters are involved in something interested. The one thing I could do without is the medical procedures, it doesnt really contribute to the story and isnt the best to look at.

Crap, I missed this week's show. What happened?
Where does one start?

Episode 1:

Plot 1: The affair between the kid and the 'life coach' continued and then was exposed, but not before the coach's son tried to force himself on Matt. Matt went to see the coach to finish it off, who then told Matt that Christian is his father. Matt then confronted his mum with the fact, although it was not revealed to Sean.

Plot 2: The crazy old hag from last episode continued her crusade, bringing in a current affair type show to do a show about her botched surgery. However, this was averted when Christian slept with the reporter, and provided her with a much better story - about pro bono work they did on a model who had her face cut by a rapist. The model also confronted the old hag with the good work McNamara/Troy did, and rightfully pointed out her situation did not compare to being stabbed in the face by a rapist. Old hag then ended her crusade.

Episode 2:

Plot 1: Whacky story with an ex-hooker that a Catholic diocese decided was Jesus, because she had holes in her arm which resembled those Jesus would have had after her crucifiction. M/T was asked to fix her arm, which they did pro bono. Of course, this turned out to be fake. Single episode plot with little consequence to future episodes.

Plot 2: Julia told Sean that Christian is Matt's father. Sean went nuts, kicked Julia out of the house and went and punched out Christian.

Plot 3: The nurse (name escapes me) had an abortion after it was revealed that her foetus had down syndrome.

If you want to clear up any details, just PM me.

one other vital (i think?) piece of information on this is that Christian was the donor for Liz's pregnancy (she being a lesbian), having lost Wilbur this may have more effects on Christian as the series goes on.

visiting with a mate who doesn't have a bloody TV!

Some sort of primitive savage ? What do you talk about if they don't have TV to discuss.

If there's a TV in the room and it's not on, it must be broken.
