I'm having a mare this week 77 + Xhaka.

Traded in Xhaka, Keane (good) and Bowen (bad). Benched Anderson who has outscored my 3 mid's on field.

How good is this game lol

Yeah this will be interesting. His value is going to rise now, so he's a hold for a little while. As the latest new shiny toy at Citeh he'll probably be safe from rotation for a while.

I definitely had my doubts over Sunderland, but Xhaka keeps rolling on. 👌

Don't like the whole after-eventing thing, but I do think Keane is still worth talking about. (Wish I had have seen those 2 posts before kick off Saturday night...)
If I had have had him from the start (I did not), I wouldn't have played him in 3 games; @ LP, @ MC, @ Chelsea. If we take out his scores in those games he's averaging exactly 11.
[I reckon there's only 3 games from here that I'll bench him for, which are @ AV, NC & Arsenal.]

Everton rarely concede more than 1 (3 of the 15 games I'd have played him in) and the CB's do a mountain of work. He's had the 8th most shots at home of all defenders (although, admittedly just over 1 a game isn't exactly worth shouting about! 😁).
Honestly, how many players in the whole game do we expect to average over 10 from here?
[Gab and Munoz the great unknowns coming off injuries of course].
Still under 10 mil, I just think he's still value. (And more importantly, a potential top 5-6 scorer from here on in).

Lacroix now close to 6 mil now too, but the Palace wheels are wobbling badly with the congested fixture.

Bowen? Such a weird year for him. I don't watch enough of West Ham to understand what's going on, but his numbers (although not necessarily his positioning 🫤) suggest that he's playing as a striker. Equal 4th most SiB in the last 8 games, so you'd think there are goals on the way, but he's creating next to no chances for team-mates...and so not-coincidentally, doesn't have any other avenues to points in this game for us. It's goals or nothing for him atm.

I have no idea how the Semenyo situation will play out. Cherki playing as well as anyone right now (best CC/min in the League), Doku still to return, and Reijnders has hit some form (and cost nearly 50 mil himself).
But, he's certainly done us a solid in the last month with points and value.

Scaled up 3 points. 🥳

Great score this week!

Crystal Palace defenders are all dropping, could be good options once they steady.

Appreciate all your comments and thoughts which I soak up like a sponge.

Bring on the rest of the season!

Cucurella a doubt after going off with a tight hammy. I'm trading him to Mitchell who has got very cheap.

7mil itb to help get Gabriel when he bottoms out in a few rounds.

Will consider trading out Cunha after playing Wolves this round, he's made some money. Maybe down to Thiago to build the bank a bit for Bruno.

Cunha has Burnley in 21...

The 3rd Forward spot is as inconsistent as it gets.
I can see the rationale behind 'downgrading' if it's too make $, but points-wise, Cunha is as likely as anyone else, imo.
[I'm seriously considering making F3 (currently Semenyo) a doughnut. Just weighing up how many points I would gain from having full looping ability v having to play 3-5-2].

I might be juggling too many balls as it is. I need both Tarkowski and Garner to avoid yellow cards for one more game...
...and talk now of a potential Man U move for Garner! I don't think that will end well for me.

Minteh is another. Hopefully those looking to trade him out a couple of weeks back did... word now that his benching was for more than just a rest. 😔
I just can't let him go now with Brighton's run...
I'll sit him on the bench this week and loop him on if he scores anything reasonable, otherwise Iwobi will have to go.

I'm "ranked" 14th in the Cup. (Is it a seeding type set-up?)...
... but my opp this week has both Bowen and Palmer, so this is probably the week they both go big... 🙄

VC Saka. Haaland if required.

Good luck all.

Yeah Cunha is probably a hold for a while with no Mbeuno/Bruno. Hopefully United get a couple of penalties (lol) while he will take them.

Minteh has been very disappointing recently. Definitely putting his hand up to get turned into Bruno when he bottoms out.

VC Cunha/C Haaland for me.

If i keep making it through the Cup i may well end up trading simply in an attempt to go as far as i can in that. Im probably 3 wins away from thinking seriously about using my trades according to SC Cup matchups. In that respect, i like the fact that it takes place in the middle of the season.

Oh ffs. Keane misses (*).

Semenyo on to the field then and no room for error from here.

(*) Only generally a bad thing if the kids are still awake... :moustache:

Edit: Of course...Rice out now too. [Both players I brought in last week 🙄]

Truffert to Collins. Play a 4-3-3.

No Cucurella
No Calafiori
No Rice
No Keane

Panic stations.

Nervous The Big Bang Theory GIF

A DNP donut for Rice and VC Saka not managing to get a goal or an assist despite Arsenal scoring 4 goals against Villa, not ideal.

On the plus side both Palmer and Bowen scored goals, Palmer getting subbed early again is annoying but he is still worth having.

The Palmer goal was from a pretty soft penalty. (Which also resulted in a -4 for Semenyo 🤬). (*)

Rice and Keane concerns for me.
Rice has swelling in a knee that "should" be minor...
...Moyes typical of EPL Managers straight up said that he isn't going to say what's wrong with Keane. 😬

Silver linings, I guess... Garner with a 31 and Tarkowski picked up the defensive slack with an 18.

(*) My Cup opp has Palmer. I have Semenyo.
I have Raya and so missed the 8 c/s points at the death.
Obviously Keane missed for me... 😭

I need to make up 8 points with Collins and Foden v. Gvardiol and Cherki.
Unlikely. 😔

Hoping to get to ~120, which looks like it will be about average.

Lost the Cup matchup by 5 points. Oh well.

Could have been better, but a few teams near the top VC'd and took Palmer's score.
Chelsea new manager incoming. Still no official Semenyo news, Keane news or Rice news...

Plenty of fun ahead. 🥳

Took the VC on Bowen over Haaland. Special mention to Timber and Van Dijk.

Still slowly moving up the rankings.

Not easy this week. Will Rice and Bruno play? Managers are ‘managing’ players workloads as well eg. Gvardial, Keane, Rodri.

Bruno definitely no. But well done to those who held, as his replacement has essentially given me nothing...

Minteh no muscle damage. I still think he's worth holding with 4 of the next 6 at home, Burnley and BM in that...

... but he's my logical route to Bowen who has an equally juicy run. West Ham have signed a 20 mil striker which should help Bowen return to more of his 'natural' game.
At least we know he'll play. And he's a viable VC option next couple of weeks.

Tea leaves suggest that Rice is unlikely again.
Bournemouth also adamant that Semenyo will play, which I don't particularly want. I'll bench him anyway.

Keane "a chance". Will probably go with 5 defenders if he plays. Glad it's Monday morning which will give me a chance to loop and muck about with the Midfield.

Good luck all.
