Would you like me to spell it out in teal? Crows lose finals to superior teams that they can't beat during the Home and Away season, the Power lose finals to teams they thrashed a mere few weeks before the finals.
The Crows go into the finals with horrible form, losing 3/5 and win against a team on a 9 win streak. Port go into the finals with an 8 game winning streak and lose to an inferior team.

Just face it. What's good for us is good for you. I can't begin to explain how absolutely pathetic it is that you lot think you can give us a hard time about struggling in finals following a brilliant H&A season, but we can't do the same to you. Enough already.

After the crap that Port took after their finals loses, it's hard to see why Adelaide aren't chokers if Port were. Or were neither?

Similarly, if the Eagles lose this weekend they have achieved what the Pies did - 2 Grand Finals appearances for no wins. We were all told the Pies choked so I guess that same tag would apply to the Eagles.

so, mate, if Sydney lose on Saturday after being favourite going in and fail to win back to back flags with all the expectations that go with that feat, are they "chokers" as well?

perhaps we should stop trying to label the "failure" to make a GF (as Roo has so eloquently stated) and simply congratulate both Adelaide and Freo on at least making the prelim for a chance to actually get to the GF.

I thought we showed encouraging signs in the last showdown. What was your opinion?

no not at all you didnt show signs of improvement you didnt show anything we showed signs of not kicking straight and you won by 2 goals remember the showdown before that its always nice to win by 10 goals when its blowing a hurricane:) or how about in a big time final last year you guys were going to show us how it was done on our own home turf, well we all know how that panned out i think u can correct me if I'm wrong but I think its was about 7 goals unanswered wouldn't you say?? have you guys ever won 2 premierships in a row?? have you ever even one a major final against us? have you ever even looked more pathetic than this year??

YES
!quiete possibly next year:) I'll have my season ticket don't you worry best 120$ I will ever spend. Same as this year:)

Big difference between losing finals against a better team (as the Eagles have cleary proved themselves to be) and losing finals because the pressure is to much (as you did against Sydney in my previous example)

No, the difference is simple. It was the crows, not the Power this year. This is the only difference. There have been a few excellent posts by crows supporters, acknowleding the fact that the Power supporters were given a hard time a few years back, and it's only fair that crows supporters put up with the same thing.

The difference is very clear, Power fans just want to stick their fingers in their ears and scream "you lost a prelim, you are finals chokers! HAHAHA, now it's not us who choke in finals any more!!!!"
Losing a prelim to a superior team (even twice) is a tad different to losing a QF to an inferior team.
Had the Power lost 2 or even 3 prelims to the Lions during their time I would think nothing much of it. The Lions were the best finals team I've ever seen, the problem is that the Power weren't just losing prelims to the Lions. They were losing the first week to worse teams.

Yeah, slight difference.

Well he stated clearly how each side got knocked out, if you are going to add in Port's home final loss to Collingwood why don't you also add in the Crows first final loss to St Kilda.
It is like most of your posters only adding in the facts you want to believe to take away any attention from your sides pathetic finals record this century.
Why only count half the stats, your mob is digging so deep it's hilarious, look at eggboy's stats, he tries to show our dominance in 03 but discards the first 7 rounds as we lost 3 games in that period and it doesn't back up his facts. Poor try-hard attempts yet again.
Also amazing how our finals performances are irrelevant since 2003 considering we won a flag in 2004. Your mob have to at least win a flag in 2007 to even be put in the same sentence.

The circumstances were different, yes. But at the end of the day, you bombed out of the finals when you shouldnt have. You had a weeks rest, home ground advantage etc. The Eagles were only apparant favourites after the final siren sounded.

seriously mate I have never heard so much **** dribbled from one persons mouth not even a baby:) we were not favourites! the midfield of the eagles is superior to anyone elses in the competition. The week rest didnt do us any good, and eagles have beaten us here before so no home ground advantage which means your just wrong wrong wrong!

yet again...

p.s bombed out when we shouldn't have wat against the top team?? your such an idiot lol

You are right, I did forget that. But only because the thrashing we gave you the next week made me forget it and a part of me is actually glad that it happened.
But yes, we should've won that. So really, we've only ever choked once.
Port choked 3 times.

Oh.Dear.God.

By not calling yourselves chokers you are only accepting mediocrity anyway.

Suck it up and get over it, i hate the word choke, but from the s*** we copped, you better believe none of us will be letting up after this year champ.:)

Three times? Ok mate.

We lost a prelim final to the West Coast Eagles..again. It is what it is. Call it a choke if you like. The reality is, the Crows have been the third best team in the last two seasons and have really struggled against the Eagles.

It has been disappointing but not embarrassing. Especially considering where we were when Neil Craig took over. He has done a great job but has areas in which he can improve.

The reality is that 15 teams a year don’t win the flag. We were in a much better position than most and couldn’t capitalise. So we try and learn from our mistakes and move on to next year.

So again, if you want to use the choker label go right ahead …it means nothing…it is just a label.

The hurt you feel as a supporter far outweighs anything any fringe lunatic can dish out on Big Footy, and a few of the well known ones are in this thread.

Some Port supporters will revel in our defeat as some of our supporters have done with Port in the past. Make up your mind whether that is dignified or not.

And Brisbane were the better team in 2002 and 2003.

Bull****, we played in three Prelims, 04 we beat St Kilda at Home something you mob could not achieve in a home final after winning 9 straight.
03 We lost a Prelim to Collingwood at the MCG which wasn't at home.
02 We lost a Prelim to Brisbane at the Gabba which is no embarrasment either.
Never did we lose a Home Prelim, you lost a home Prelim and a first up home final.
In 02 you lost a prelim at the MCG, 05 you lost a Prelim to a Grand Finalist and the biggest choke of all you lost a Home Prelim to West Coast who had 7 days less break, a side that had to travel 2000km's, a side that lost by 8 goals to the 12th place side 2 months ago at the same venue and worst of all you were up by 20 odd points at half time kicking with a slight breeze.
I have not seen a bigger choke in a Prelim since 1993 when your mob was up by 43 points at half time.

YOU LOST A HOME PRELIM FINAL YOU SHOULD NOT OF LOST. :p

Hawthown 2001, you were clear favorite.
Collingwood 2002, you were clear favorite.
Sydney 2003, you were clear favorite.

You have no idea.
