I saw the Glenelg vs Port Reserves game today at Alberton and once again Josh Krueger did not play. Does anyone know whats wrong with him now.

No, he is definately not playing in the league side either.
:( I hope it's nothing serious because it could spell the end of the clubs patience

WW, A lot of sad things happen in footy, and one of the worst of these is to get a bad back.

Usually once a bad back always a bad back, and bad backs and footy just don't mix.

If it's Krueger's back again I don't like his long term chances.

Sadly I agree - it obviously depends on the nature of it - but if it is the back again - Idon't think the AFC will be able to afford the risk

Have we any updated news as to why he didn't play - (kneels and preys for the flu ;) )

I've never seen the lad play - i remember at the time of drafting there was some conjecture about whether was worth a 30's pick. I hope he can get it right and and try prove himself but I'm beginning to doubt that very much.

Before we jump to conclusions we need to get the real story

Yeah - I remember thinking the same, that it was a big call. BUT you had to show faith, and drafting is always a crap shoot.

Is states on the afc website that Josh Krueger had the flu on the weekend and thats the reason why he didnt play, same with Nathan Van Berlo

:) You can relax folks - there's still hope here for Kruegs

I read reports on here and then saw im play on one of the rare occasions he was fit. I wasn't overly impressed. Wan't be a huge loss to the club if he is delisted at years end.

9 more games in the season - alot can happen - remember because of his back he has no fitness, and hasn't been able to build his body up.

A lot of unknowns about how he would perform if he were fit - concerned about his apparent attitude - question is how badly does he want to play AFL - if the answer is he would "like to" - then delist him

I was just reading on the footysa website that Krueger mayve got injured again on the weekend against South in the reserves. If this is the case i say its time to get rid of Kruegs at the end of the year, his body is too tempremental and i doubt whether he will eva play for the crows. Does anyone know if this is true that Krueger got injured on Saturday

I posted that on footysa. I can confirm that he went off in the 3rd quarter and did not return. As it was reserves there was no other info available but check out the injury reports which are due out on Wednesday. He was probably in my best up until going off.

I saw Kruegs on saturday night, he didnt mention any injury and he was not limping or anything so it may of just been precautionary seeing they were getting pumped.

Not sure.

The pumping happened due to several injuries occurring. When he went off we were still in the game.

Thanks mate. Good to hear Kruegs was finding a bit of the footy. Roughly how many marks did he pluck him and possies wouldve he roughly had.

He was the difference up forward for us. He took several top grabs. Would have had at least 5 until half time. Injuries to our focal point up forward (Krueger) and full back pretty much handed it to south. It was an even game until that moment early in the 3rd.

Krueger would want to start getting regularly on the park for the Bays & play some decent footy in the 2nd half of the season, otherwise he is looking very likely to be delisted at years end ... particularly given that he is not on the best of terms with AFC.

Along with Krugs, I will be suprised if the following play another game for the AFC:

Bode,
Ladhams,
Massie,
Smith,
S Stevens.

Schuie better pull his finger out or he also will be delisted.
