If so....how do you delete all messages instead of having to go through and delete each one?

If it's like the N97mini there will be a "Mark/Unmark" in the option list. You can then select "Mark All" then "Delete" and it'll get rid of them all in one go.

Having said that..... if anyone is interested in a smartphone then I can highly reccommend that you STEER CLEAR of the N97mini.
