Nokia Restriction Codes

G'day guys,

After years of faithful service, my Nokia 6610 has decided to ask for a 'Restriction Code' - I've got no idea what this is. I rang up Nokia and Telstra, but all they could say was "try 12345...and if that doesn't work...bad luck".

So hopefully you guys can help - it would be really appreciated.

I've taken the below information from the back of the phone and hopefully you'll be able to make sense of it and help me in getting my beloved Nokia brick off life-support.

i don't know much about nokia 6610.... well i don't know much about phones in general.

Flashing it might fix it... Flashing fixes everything. lol

are you sure its 'bricked', or did you just put in a new sim card into your nokia which may be network locked?
