Nominated Rookie

I don't fully understand how it works. I heard or read somewhere that our nominated rookie (Slade) can only play the first seven rounds of the season? Why is that? So when his seven games are up, that's it, he plays the rest of the season in the VFL?

Nick Batchelor is our nominated rookie and eligible to play the full season in the AFL. He did his hamstring and was placed on the long term injury list which allowed another rookie (Slade) to take his spot as the nominated rookie for 8 weeks.

Depends.. where do you play? Are you a quality tall backman? If so, maybe. Or how about an experienced ruckman?

Will has been very ace and they should put him in the team every week. I think with the way he is playing he could win a medal or something at the end of the year.
