In some ways, the silver lining to the injuries is that it will make us finish in the bottom four. We NEED another good couple of drafts with access to the high end. We have drafted pretty well the last two years, there is some optimism there, but we need more.

There was concern on our board preseason that with a healthy squad, we may see somewhat of a “bounce”, but the injuries have put paid to that. Totally accepting of where we are at, looking for the little things now as we build back again.

And absolutely. On the subject of Georgiades there is absolutely no way that WCE will be playing nice with Poort if he chooses to come back here. After their conduct with Rioli it’s time for payback. There is not a healthy relationship between the two clubs off field, we have good dealings with pretty much all except for Port and Fremantle. Funny that

Nah this is the sort of match port knew they'd win.
So they do all the right things so when they are questioned next time they can use this as an example of how they follow through.
