So basically work parties, like everything else, was better before camera phones, social media and everything you say can and will be used against you was a thing.

That doesn't mean that they were better because those things weren't there. Somewhat specious.

The difference nowadays is people that are creeped out by the behaviour of some drunken lout are no longer apprehensive to say anything about it. I'm fairly comfortable with how things have progressed personally.

If you wanna get shitfaced and take photos of yourself teabagging your passed out mate, just do it at home.

Yeah, I still remember having to do an emergency rescue of a (quite drunk) young girl at a work Christmas party (I was driving), getting her out of range of a drunk and lecherous senior manager and getting her home (well at least to her boyfriend who lived in the same complex I did at the time).

SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE NEEDED TO BE RESCUED.
